REMOVING PACKAGING

To remove cardboard mount, use a screwdriver to loosen the two back screws counterclockwise. Do not attempt to remove the clock from cardboard whjile washers and screws are in place.

IMPORTANT!

The following instructions must be followed exactly to ensure that the correct bird melody is heard for each hour.

SETTING THE TIME   (Remove batteries before beginning.)

1) Turn the hand set knob in rear of battery compartment clockwise or counterclockwise to read 10 minutes before 1:00 o'clock. (12:50)

2) Insert 3 "AA" size batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the polarity ( +/ - ) is as indicated.

3) Now turn the hand set knob clockwise to adjust to desired time.

Note: Each time the (red) button is pressed, this resets the bird melodies to the next hour's bird. If pressed, you must follow the instructions above to reset properly or you will not hear the correct melody with the correct bird.

LIGHT SENSOR

This clock has a silence function controlled by a light sensor positioned above the 12:00 bird.

GENERAL NOTICE

1) To clean the outside surface, use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe away fingerprints. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaners/polish.

2) Replace the batteries if timekeeping becomes erratic or the bird sound becomes abnormal, as this may be an indication of battery exhaustion.
